How this affects what you read
No seller previews, edits or approves a review before publication, and I do not accept payment for a favorable rating. I research and write every review before I decide which affiliate link, if any, to attach to it. If a product does not hold up to scrutiny, the review says so even though it still links to an affiliate program — the two are independent.
What commission does and does not mean
A commission is a percentage of a sale paid by the seller through its affiliate network, not by you — it does not add to the price you pay. It also does not make me the manufacturer, seller or distributor of the product, and I am not involved in processing, approving or guaranteeing refunds; those are handled entirely by the seller under the terms stated on their own page.
Where you will see this
A short version of this disclosure appears near the top of every review and again next to the main affiliate links, so it is visible before you click through — not hidden behind a single footer link.
